| 内容記述 | 本論文は，インドおよびネパールのチベット難民社会におけるポピュラー音 楽チベタン・ポップの歌詞を取りまく実践に着目し，チベット語リテラシーを めぐるチベット難民社会の一断面とその動態性を描きとることを目的とする。 具体的には，亡命政府が難民社会において展開してきた文化政策を背景としつ つ，さまざまなアクターがチベタン・ポップの歌詞をめぐっていかなる実践を 展開し，いかなる語りをおこなっているかを分析することで，現在のチベット 難民社会の様相を明らかにする。その際，歌詞に書かれた意味を読み取り社会 状況を導出しようとしてきた旧来の分析とは異なり，社会状況や聴衆との関係 性の中で「歌詞を書く」という実践の視点から歌詞を対象とするポピュラー音 楽研究の手法を模索する。また，作詞やその消費をめぐるアクターの実践に着 目することでエージェンシーに関する記述に対しても再考することを目的とす る。 |

| 内容記述 | This paper aims to capture the conditions and cultural policy surrounding literacy in the Tibetan language among Tibetan refugee societies in India and Nepal by focusing on diverse practices concerning the lyrics of the popular music called “Tibetan pop”, which is a quite popular musical genre among Tibetans living there. In particular, by analysis of discourse and practices concerning Tibetan pop lyrics by such participants as singers, audiences, old refugees and new refugees, it shows how the Tibetan refugee societies have evolved. At the same time, it criticizes well-known lyric analyses which focus on the contents of lyrics as media to understand social conditions or contexts. Also it seeks for a different kind of analysis, which pays attention to writing lyrics with consideration of the social conditions and relationships with the audience. Furthermore, it attempts to show an alternative approach to anthropological writings on “agency” through its focus on participants’ discourse and practices concerning lyrics and their consumption. |
