| 内容記述 | 2013 年 10 月，ソロモン諸島マライタ島南部アレアレの熱帯雨林に即製のレ コーディング・スタジオが出現した。本論文は，アレアレの在来楽器である竹 製パンパイプと即製のレコーディング・スタジオをめぐる一連の出来事の検討 を通じ，グローバル化時代のアレアレの在来楽器が混淆化する様相を論じる。 着目するのは，一方で在来の竹製パンパイプを取り込み同時代の音楽を生み出 そうとする人びとの制作と，他方でグローバル化時代の音楽を組み入れつつ在 来の竹製パンパイプを作り直そうとする人びとの制作との対称的な関係であ る。民族誌の最後の局面では，それぞれの制作が即製のレコーディング・スタ ジオで時空間を共有する状況が示される。そこでは，プロデューサーとエンジ ニア，演奏者といった人びとが，レコーディングという共通の出来事に臨みつ つ，それぞれの意図の実現に向けて各々の制作行為に取り組む様相に焦点があ てられる。最終的に，グローバル化時代において異なる者同士が出会い，ひと つの出来事を共有することの困難と可能性の一端が，音楽をめぐる媒介の営為 に関する考察を通して示唆される。 |

| 内容記述 | In October 2013, an ad hoc recording studio appeared in the tropical rainforest in ’Are’are of the southern part of Malaita Island, Solomon Islands. This article presents analyses of a series of events that occurred there andpresents discussion of “global encounters” between indigenous music and the music industry. The encounter of music is achieved from aspects of contact through activities, objects, and technologies that comprise music as events. The author particularly addresses the act of mediation to realize “music” for each. In doing so, the recording participants make and use objects such as studio materials and musical instruments as media. For ethnographic descriptions, the author presents a process by which people with different interests, such as producers, engineers, and performers, negotiate and compromise over the “music” for each other and partly share one event. Ultimately, by considering musical mediation, different peoples in the globalization era can encounter each other and share an event while shifting centrality |
