| 内容記述 | Two major types of basketry technique are recognized, coiling and weaving. Twilling and hexagonal forms of weaving are the dominant types in East and Southeast Asia. Cane and bamboo are the main raw materials used in both areas. This paper analizes the National Museum of Ethnology's basket collections from Palawan, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, and compares the techniques employed with Japanese basket-making techniques. |
