| 内容記述 | 本論は，イスタンブルの中国新疆ウイグル族に注目し，ムスリムであるとい うことが，かれらがトルコにおいて日々食べる，つきあうという営みにどのよ うにかかわっているのかを描き出し，それによって，これまで規範であるとみ なされてきたイスラームの位置づけを見直すことを目的とする。イスラーム は，これまで多くの研究において規範として位置づけられてきた。そのため， ムスリムをめぐる調査は多く，礼拝，食事といった規範的行動への注目からな されてきた。本論は，イスタンブルのウイグル族に対する調査から，かれらに とってのイスラームが，行動を律する規範としてではなく，かれらひとりひと りを肯定し，そのふるまいを他者へと正当化する役割をもったものとしてもと められていることを描き出す。 |

| 内容記述 | This thesis focuses on the daily meals and relationships of an Uyghur of Istanbul and attempts to understand the meaning of being a Muslim in a Muslim country of different ethnicity, thereby intending to review the position of Islam, which has been considered a set of rules until now. Because Islam is so considered, numerous investigations concerning Muslims have been conducted which focus on actions in line with the rules, such as worship, clothes, and meals. This thesis indicates that for an Uyghur of Istanbul, Islam is not a set of rules but a source of self-affirmation and justification. |
