| 内容記述 | ヤキはメキシコとアメリカに国境を跨いで居住する先住民族である。近代国 家の成立，国境の画定によって 2 つの国家に分断されながらも，ヤキは民族的 同胞意識を維持し，1990 年代以降，越境的な交換を活発化させている。中で も文化的領域で行われるトランスナショナルな交換は贈与交換のシステムとし て確立されてきた。そして主に儀礼から発展したネットワークは交換の活発化 とともに多様化し，多元的なネットワークへと変化している。しかし，同時 に，国籍，出身コミュニティなどの社会的，文化的背景が異なる個人や集団が 参加するトランスナショナルな贈与交換は，しばしば当事者の間で齟齬を生ん でいる。本稿ではトランスナショナルに展開する交換を 4 つのタイプ，儀礼に おける贈与交換，文化的贈与交換，文化アイテムの交換，贈与に分類し，考察 することを通じて，ヤキのトランスナショナル化の様相を明らかにする。 |

| 内容記述 | The Yaqui are a cross-border indigenous group residing near the Mexico – United States border. Despite the fragmentation of their people and ethnic space because of the establishment of the international border and construction of the modern nation-state, this group has maintained ethnic consciousness. Since the 1990s, it has increased exchanges beyond the international border. Transnational exchange that has been achieved in the cultural sphere has developed into system of transnational gift exchange. The network, which was originally developed in ritual space, has transformed into a multiple network extending beyond the border. However, the transnational gift-exchange involving individuals and groups of different social and cultural backgrounds, such as nationality and community origin, has created discrepancies among different parties. This article presents an examination of the state of transnationalization of the Yaqui through classification and analyses of the four types of transnational exchange, ritual gift exchange, cultural gift exchange, exchange of cultural items and gift. |
