Our aim is to consider those art practices as events by\nanalyzing various processes related to arts. Some time has passed since both\n“collaborative” art practices and those processes of making art have come to\nbe regarded as important in the context of contemporary art. Collaborations\nwith other disciplines and actors are also highly regarded. Furthermore, collaborative processes themselves are more respected than the final product. To\nanalyze those practices, one must specifically examine not only on the series\nof relationships among actors beyond conventional subjectivity, but also the\npoint of cutting in each process. The case studies included in this edition\nexamine “participatory art,” “art projects,” “street art,” and exhibition-making\nthrough the shared collaboration of an artist and an anthropologist.
