Cultural\ntranslation of Japanese folklore concepts in other societies is one way to realise\nits prospects. Translation to Tolai society in Papua New Guinea is examined\nin this study, with muen (unrelated), yuen (related), and en (relation) as\ndiscussed by historian Yoshihiko Amino. Specifically addressing commodity\nand gift exchange, which Amino discussed with the theory of ‘unrelated’,\npossessive expression is demonstrated as one ideal context for cultural translation\nof muen, yuen, and en. Subsequently, exchange deemed in the\nMedieval Japan where an object was magically unrelated to the possessor is\nillustrated, whereas Tolai society exchange objects are not bodily related.\nUnlike Medieval Japanese society, objects related to possessors can be\nexchanged, but they greatly transform the social status of participants via\nexchange. These findings shed new light on some cultural aspects of one’s\nown and other societies, unlike ‘centre’ in knowledge production.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_publisher_27":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"小坂, 恵敬"},{"creatorName":"コサカ, ヨシノリ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Kosaka, Yoshinori","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2018-11-29"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_043_2_02.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.2 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_043_2_02","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/8173/files/KH_043_2_02.pdf"},"version_id":"1df65c5e-4ffa-4ec1-87e5-ada413b8e1b8"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"知識の生産|無縁|文化翻訳|所有表現|交換","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"knowledge production|muen|cultural translation|possessive expression|exchange","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"無縁・有縁・縁を訳すコンテキスト : パプアニューギニア・トーライ社会を対象に","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"無縁・有縁・縁を訳すコンテキスト : パプアニューギニア・トーライ社会を対象に"},{"subitem_title":"Context for Translation of Muen, Yuen, and En : Case for Tolai Society in Papua New Guinea","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"17","path":["707"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2018-11-29"},"publish_date":"2018-11-29","publish_status":"0","recid":"8173","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["無縁・有縁・縁を訳すコンテキスト : パプアニューギニア・トーライ社会を対象に"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T17:16:09.078852+00:00"}
