The author has classified these into\ntypes according to their distribution, shape and function.\nType A-found only along the coast of Iburi. Its rear barbs\nare large and wing-shaped, with flat ends. Used mainly for\ncatching swordfish.\nType B-found in most Ainu regions, this type can further be\nclassed into five subtypes (B1–B5). Its rear barbs are pointed.\nUsed for catching sunfish, dolphin, and probably all kinds of sea\nanimals (seals, fur seal, sea lions, whales, etc.).\nType C-found on the Japan Sea side of Oshima peninsula\nand along the straits of Tsugaru. Similar in shape to Type B,\nit is rhombic in cross-section with a longitudinal ridge line.\nTargets of use unknown.\nType D-found only on the coast of the Gulf of Uchiura.\nThe back cavity is shallow and the top of the rear barb is Vshaped.\nThe tip is bent slightly so that aconite poison can be\nplaced in the neck groove. Used for catching whales.\nType E-found along the Gulf of Uchiura. It has a hole\nperforated at right angles to the face of the harpoon.\nIn addition to these 120 from modern times, numerous other\nAinu harpoons have been retrieved from archaeological sites.\nThese can be given the following chronological arrangement:\nTypes A and B2 may, be considered to be the most recent\nsince they have not been found in prehistoric ruins. I assume\nthat they came into existence around the beginning of the 19th\ncentury. Type C can be traced to the end of the 18th century,\nand Type D presumably derives from the same period.\nHarpoons of Type B (except B2) were found inside the body\nof a whale caught offshore from Keichi in 1725. So it can be\nargued that they date at the latest to the early 18th century.\nFurthermore, harpoons of a type similar to Type B occur in\narchaeological sites in Hokkaido, where they date to around the\n17th century. I have tentatively classed these Hokkaido\nspecimens as Type F.\nType F appears to have been developed as a cross between\ntwo types of harpoons. One was the so-called Ketsunyu-rit&mori,\na harpoon known as early as 7000 years ago in Hokkaido. The\nother was a type of harpoon that came in from the north around\nthe time of the 12th century. With Type F we have the first\nform of the Ainu kite.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15021/00004626","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_9_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_9_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_9_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_9_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"大塚, 和義"},{"creatorName":"オオツカ, カズヨシ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Ohtsuka, Kazuyoshi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{},{},{},{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-11-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_001_4_002.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"20.6 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_001_4_002.pdf","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/4634/files/KH_001_4_002.pdf"},"version_id":"d05d290d-4f33-4225-b353-0dbe9d9792b7"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"アイヌのキテ(回転式離頭銛)の諸系列 : 形態分類と編年","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"アイヌのキテ(回転式離頭銛)の諸系列 : 形態分類と編年"},{"subitem_title":"The kite, Toggle-headed Harpoons of the Ainu : Typology and Chronology","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"17","path":["499"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2010-02-16"},"publish_date":"2010-02-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"4634","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["アイヌのキテ(回転式離頭銛)の諸系列 : 形態分類と編年"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T19:21:00.074708+00:00"}
