{"created":"2023-06-20T15:59:23.559962+00:00","id":4601,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"c4b1890d-122c-4790-9a41-7365b26751f0"},"_deposit":{"created_by":17,"id":"4601","owners":[17],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"4601"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp:00004601","sets":["345:495"]},"author_link":["7782"],"item_9_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"1978-02-02","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicIssueNumber":"4","bibliographicPageEnd":"764","bibliographicPageStart":"702","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"2","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"国立民族学博物館研究報告"},{"bibliographic_title":"Bulletin of the National Museum of Ethnology","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_9_description_4":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Traditional spearfishing for slime-flounder (Microstomus achne)\nin the coastal waters of Oma on Shimokita Peninsula, in northernmost\nHonshu, Japan, was surveyed from an ecological point of view.\nThe results of the study are presented as follows.\n1) The spearfishermen's fishing activities are limited by their\nindividual prowness.\n2) There is a great variation in individual skills as revealed in the\ndifference of the catching rate per unit time, the total catch per\ncapita, the frequency and the type of errors, and the choice of\nfishing gear.\n3) Skills in spearfishing are regarded as adaptive in terms of\necology, since the population of slime-flounder are selectively\nexploited in terms of size and amount of catch; so that a constant\ncatch has been maintained.\n4) Recent introduction of the longline and the gill net for slimeflounder\nfishing has brought a rapid increase in the total yield;\nhowever, smaller sized fish which used to be ignored have now\ncome to be exploited. As a result, a problem of over-fishing will probably occur in the near future.\n5) Spearfishermen had to cope with technological changes.
