Total fish yield is\nestimated by altitude and stream order, and cumulative distributions\nare compared for 4 river systems. Some species, such as\nCyprinoid Dace (Leuciscus [Tribolodon] hakonensis), Ayu-fish\n(Plecoglossusa ltivelis), Cherry Salmon (Salmo [Oncorhynchus] masou\nmasou), two sub-species of Land-Locked Salmon (Salmo [Oncorhynchus]\nmasou masou, Salmo [Oncorhynchus] masou macrostomus),\nshow high yields at different altitudes and in different stream\norders.\nThe fifth-order or main streams are most economically\nproductive in terms of species diversity and abundance.
