Thus, as far as the above mentioned condition is\nfulfilled, the term \"transhumance\" can be employed even if the\nmovements are \"horizontal\" rather than \"vertical\".\nMovements of the Jenngel6e are regular, seasonal, and \"horizontal\",\nbut often they move to regions climatically different from\ntheir own permanent villages.
