The author is not known, but is said\nto be not only a pundit but literary artist by virtue of its flowing\nand elegant style. Of the variant texts that have been published,\nthe Abdullah text is considered the \"standard\" one.\nThis paper attempts to clarify the use and the system of the\npronouns found in the SM mainly on the basis of the Abdullah\ntext which is re-arranged in the form of KWIC at the National\nMuseum of Ethnology. The grand total of KWIC is 6054 items.\nContrary to Brown's impression [1970: xiii], that in the\nSM there is no uniformity in the use of the pronouns for the first\nand second persons, it is shown in this paper that the use of\npronouns is consistent, though the language of the work contains\na greater variety of personal pronouns, including diverted kin\nterms, than modern Malaysian and Indonesian.\nThe proper use of the speaker sahaya \"by a person of low\nrank to one of high rank\" and aku \"vice versa\", the form of\npolite address to either man or woman tuan, the third person\nis \"nominative case\", and dia \"oblique case\", etc., is not strictly\nobserved at the present time. There were also kin terms ending\nin -nda used for both \"term of address\" and \"term of reference\"\nwhich are scarcely encounterd today.\nWinstedt erred in saying that the ending -nda means\n\"honorific\" [1972: 111], because there is also the use of the\nspeaker: senda (sahaya+-nda). This -nda form should be defined\nas \"polite suffix\" indicating reverence and humility.\nA primary factor in characterizing Malayan polite expressions\nis that they depend not only on the human relationship\nbut on the context of the utterance. Therefore, if the situation\nrequires, a parent is able to call or refer to his own child with the\npolite form, putera \"son\" or puteri \"daughter\" rather than the\nneutral anak.\nThe serial adverbs of place such as sini, situ and sana, derived\nfrom the demonstratives ini, itu (and unattested *ana), are\ngenerally said to be equivalent to the personal pronouns aku;\nsahaya, engkau; tuan and ia; dia respectively, contrasting with here,\nthere and over there in English or ko-, so- and a- in Japanese.\nBut unlike English or Japanese, Malay is assigned to the speakerhearer\ntype [吉田 1981], that is, sini means \"near the speaker\",\nsitu \"near the hearer\" and sana \"far from both\". In the SM\nsitu occurs only once. This fact reveals that the literary style\nof the SM is not narrative, but descriptive.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15021/00004467","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_9_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_9_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_9_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_9_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"崎山, 理"},{"creatorName":"サキヤマ , オサム","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Sakiyama , Osamu","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{},{},{},{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-11-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_007_4_003.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_007_4_003.pdf","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/4475/files/KH_007_4_003.pdf"},"version_id":"99af3be7-75f4-4e17-ab5a-f8af0e3c20ca"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"『マライ編年史』の代名詞 : KWICにもとづく比較研究","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"『マライ編年史』の代名詞 : KWICにもとづく比較研究"},{"subitem_title":"Pronouns in the Sĕjarah Mĕlayu or Malay Annals","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"17","path":["475"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2010-02-16"},"publish_date":"2010-02-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"4475","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["『マライ編年史』の代名詞 : KWICにもとづく比較研究"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T19:25:57.881187+00:00"}
