This is a major reason why twenty\nto thirty percent of one village have been forced to emigrate to\nFrance. Almost all the emigrants are male, and they live in France\nwithout wife and children. Remittances from the emigrants are used not\nonly for the expenditures needed to sustain the daily life of the family but\nalso for the common expenditures needed for community development\nin the village. Today, emigration has become essential for the Soninke\npeople to live on in such a depressed region.\nThe migration observed in Soninke society has been maintained by\nlarge families and their ties. Simultaneously, it is confirmed that family\nstructures are adversely influenced by the migration itself. The migration\nto France, with its completely different customs and culture, cannot\ncontinue without the cohesion of the emigrants. It is observed that the\ntraditional age systems and class relationships seen in the village are\nbrought into France. On the other hand, it is confirmed that the status\nof head of family has been gradually enforced due to continuous migration.\nThe patriarchal system seen in Soninke society becomes a major\nelement in producing families of twenty two point four (22.4) persons\non average, as surveyed at the village of Gande. When the actual\nconditions of the large families are clarified, using the three basic comp\"\nof nents of \"compound (concession) \", \"household (menage) \" and amily nucleus (noyau familial) \", the following five family types are\nrevealed, namely;\n1. mononuclear family, : a couple + single lineal descendants\n(+ a lineal ascendant +\nother single relatives),\n2. expanded mononuclear family, : 1 + at least one single collateral\nrelative,\n3. polynuclear family,: 1 + at least one family nucleus\nof lineal relatives,\n4. collateral polynuclear family, : 1 + at least one family nucleus\nof collateral relatives,\n5. expanded polynuclear family, : 3 + 4.\nIt is observed that the emigrants come from comparatively large\nfamilies, e.g. collateral polynuclear family or expanded polynuclear family,\nand that in such large families there is a tendency for the average age\nof the head to be high, and further, that those families often belong to a\nlower social class.\nThe members of a large family live in the village and the place where\nthey emigrate, and their relations are formed as strong ties among the\nfamily members. However, this kind of family is not the traditional and\ntypical one seen in Soninke society in the past. Rather, it must be said\nthat it has been newly formed by contemporary socio-economic conditions.\nIn addition to this, with respect to changes in family structures in\nthe future, the most interesting thing to observe will be changes in the\neconomic and social power of men in the family. It is, in short, to be\ndetermined by the power relations between the head of a family and the\nemigrants.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15021/00004171","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_9_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_9_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_9_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_9_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"三島, 禎子"},{"creatorName":"ミシマ, テイコ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Mishima, Teiko","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{},{},{},{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-11-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_021_1_002.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.8 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_021_1_002.pdf","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/4179/files/KH_021_1_002.pdf"},"version_id":"ddfb46fb-8576-4ee4-9e0e-efaa9818e1bf"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"出稼ぎ|ソニンケ人|セネガル|家族形態|家族核","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"migration|Soninke|Senegal|family structures|family nucleus (noyau familial)","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"ソニンケ社会における家族の連帯と規模 : 出稼ぎをめぐって","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"ソニンケ社会における家族の連帯と規模 : 出稼ぎをめぐって"},{"subitem_title":"Migration and Family Structure in Soninke Society","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"17","path":["422"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2010-02-16"},"publish_date":"2010-02-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"4179","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["ソニンケ社会における家族の連帯と規模 : 出稼ぎをめぐって"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T17:18:36.055208+00:00"}
