With respect to subsistence activities,\nthe questionnaire to each household enquired about: (1) kinds\nof subsistence activities the household engages in, (2) the approximate\nmonthly income from each activity, (3) kinds of food crop and cashcrop\ntrees, (4) ownership or usufruct of sago palms, (5) the number\nof sago palms exploited in a month, (6) methods and monthly frequency\nof fishing.\nThe questionnaire for food use was conducted on seven successive\ndays. The kinds of food consumed in the three meals of the day were\nrecorded, separating staple food and side dishes. The monthly amount\nof money expended on the purchase of food was also asked.\nOn the basis of subsistence patterns, which are defined as different\ncombinations of the three subsistence activities (agriculture, including\nsilviculture of cash-crop trees, exploitation of sago palms, and fishing) ,\nthe households are classified into four types: (A) engaging only in\nagriculture (22.0%) , (B) agriculture and exploitation of sago palms\n(18.0%) , (C) agriculture and fishing (26.0%) , (D) all the kinds of subsistence\nactivity (34.0%) . The monthly income from agriculture, exploitation\nof sago palms, and fishing averages 21,800 Rp (Rupiah),\n42,900 Rp, and 15,400 Rp, respectively. There is a great variation in\nmonthly income among the households, averaging 55,900 Rp. The\naverage monthly income of the B-type households is the highest (80,900\nRp) among the four types of the households, and about four times as\nmuch as that of the A-type households.\nIn order to analyze the variation of subsistence pattern, the\nhouseholds are divided into three types: the \"indigenous\" households (Itype)\nwhose heads belong to the nine patri-clans which are indigenous to\nthe village territory, and the \"immigrant\" households whose heads (IIItype)\nor forefathers (II-type) migrated from other areas of Indonesia.\nThe most conspicuous difference is found in the exploitation of sago\npalms. The I-type households engage in the activity with a four times\nhigher percentage than III-type households (80% vs. 20%) . This is\nbecause only the I-type households have ownership or usufruct of\nnaturally-growing sago palms. About 55% of the III-type households\nbelong to the C-type subsistence pattern, which is not found in the I-type\nhouseholds. The average monthly income is the highest in the I-type\nhouseholds (64,400 Rp/month) , and the lowest in the III-type\nhouseholds (41,500 Rp/month) . The percentage of households owning\nclove trees is significantly higher in the \"indigenous households\" than in\nthe \"immigrant households\", although there is no difference in the ownership\nof cacao trees that have been recently introduced to the village.\nFrom the data on 483 meals, the most important staple food is sago\nstarch, accounting for 29.2% of the total number of instances. Other\nstaple foods are ordered in importance: rice (23.2%) , banana (19.1%) ,\ncassava (18.5%) , and others (10.0%) . Vegetables account for 49.5%\nof the total instances of side dishes, and fish species are second in importance,\naccounting for 39.9%. Meat, beef, pork or chicken, and eggs occupy\nthe remainder, together accounting for 10.6%. There is also a considerable\nvariation in food use among the types of subsistence pattern.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15021/00004147","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_9_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_9_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_9_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_9_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"口蔵, 幸雄"},{"creatorName":"クチクラ, ユキオ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Kuchikura, Yukio","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"野中, 健一"},{"creatorName":"ノナカ, ケンイチ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Nonaka, Kenichi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"須田, 一弘"},{"creatorName":"スダ, カズヒロ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Suda, Kazuhiro","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"須田, 和代"},{"creatorName":"スダ, カズヨ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Suda, Kazuyo ","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-11-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_022_2_005.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.1 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_022_2_005.pdf","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/4155/files/KH_022_2_005.pdf"},"version_id":"cba4035d-c65c-4e1f-95a6-8630a315b99b"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"インドネシア|セラム島|サゴヤシ|チョウジ|生業活動|食物利用|世帯間変異|移住","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Indonesia|Seram|sago|clove|subsistence activities|food use|interhousehold variations|migration","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"移住と生業戦略 : インドネシア,セラム島の農村における生業活動と食物利用","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"移住と生業戦略 : インドネシア,セラム島の農村における生業活動と食物利用"},{"subitem_title":"Subsistence Strategies of the Immigrant Households in a Coastal Village of Seram, Indonesia","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"17","path":["417"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2010-02-16"},"publish_date":"2010-02-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"4155","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["移住と生業戦略 : インドネシア,セラム島の農村における生業活動と食物利用"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T17:18:51.988130+00:00"}
