The analysis is based\non field work which was done three times for a total of two months from\n1991 to 1995 in Anhai Town, the City of Jinjiang, Fujian Province.\nIn this area, almost all of temples, whether Buddhist or popular, see\nthe worship of numbers of Gods from different religion. But this\nphenomenon dose not mean that there is no classification of temples.\nAccording to the connection to the social life, temples are divided into\nfeixianghuomiao, in which worship is almost entirely conducted by Buddhist\nmonks, and xianghuomiao, in which ordinary people can come and\ngo freely, and where individuals and families in the area can worships\nbringing offerings and incense to pray for blessings whenever they feel\nthe need.\nThe gods of popular religion including spirits of former human beings\nwho have been deified, or the gods of Daoism, wangye, who are\nbelieved to bring plague and also can answer requests and grant favors,\nand even Buddhist saints are divided into two sorts. One is the spirits of\nchushen, the other is buchushen. The former are spirits who are believed,\nthrough some spirit-mediums such as portable shrines, shamans\nand so on, to be highly responsive to prayers, while the latter preserve\nprovidence in silence and are formless. , The former answer emergency\nor unusual requests in prayers, the latter the daily or usual requests of\nprayers. It may be said that this kind of division exists mainly because\nof the needs of prayers.\nChinese popular religion is conducted in the midst of ordinary social\nlife, in the family, village, or city neighborhoods called jing. Most\npopular rituals are done at home before the family altar or at the temple\nof the local god who is responsible just for one neighborhood jing or\nvillage. The popular religious temples, in which there are usually no\nBuddhist monks or resident clergy, are run and paid for by local people,\nsuch as the committee of old man, lay Buddhists, caretakers and so on.\nMany Buddhist rituals are actually performed by lay Buddhist. Along\nwith the gods and some spirits, there are shamans who it is believed can\nbe possessed by gods. It is thought that spirits temporarily come down\ninto their bodies, speak through them, and give them special\nknowledge. As a matter of fact, ordinary people who have a deep belief\nin the spirits can also perform as shamans. Therefore, in this area, between\nthe religion and the everyday world, religious specialists and ordinary\npeople, and between sacred and secular, there is no clear dividing\nline.\nBy the Song period (eleventh century) , the shamanism native to the\nFujian area had been blended together with Buddhist ideas, Daoist\nteachings about many levels of Gods, and Confucianism to form the\npopular religious system common from then on. This paper also\nanalyzes this phenomenon of religious mixture.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15021/00004140","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_9_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_9_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_9_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_9_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"聶, 莉莉"},{"creatorName":"ニー, リリ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Lili, Nie","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{},{},{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-11-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_022_3_003.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"7.2 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_022_3_003.pdf","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/4148/files/KH_022_3_003.pdf"},"version_id":"17329afe-ad91-4ed2-86d0-56f9b5b141d0"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"「出神」|巫俗|仏教|儒教|聖と俗","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"chushen|shamanism|Buddhism|Confucianism|sacred and secular","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"閩南農村における神々信仰 : 福建省晋江市農村での実地調査に基づいて","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"閩南農村における神々信仰 : 福建省晋江市農村での実地調査に基づいて"},{"subitem_title":"Belief in Gods and Demons in the Southern Part of Fujian Province: Field Data from a Country Town","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"17","path":["416"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2010-02-16"},"publish_date":"2010-02-16","publish_status":"0","recid":"4148","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["閩南農村における神々信仰 : 福建省晋江市農村での実地調査に基づいて"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T17:18:56.666137+00:00"}
