made and propose a conceivable framework of the history of Burmese in

た古ビルマ語の後代の形式であるとする立場に立ち、古ビルマ語における綴字
の変異及びそれ以降の綴字の変遷に加え,ビルマ語系諸言語と現代ビルマ語諸
方言に関する最近の知見に照らして,古ビルマ語の音韻体系に関するこれまで
の諸説を検討するとともに,考えられるビルマ語史の枠組みについて考察した
