In the\nCopa Period at Kuntur Wasi, while some figurative expressions show\nclose resemblances to those of the preceding Kuntur Wasi Period in\nthemes and motifs, we can find complex transformations which add new\nrepresentations, replace a past iconographical element with another, and\nso on. Not only the imitation or preservation of the achievements of the\npast, showing a great interest in this, but also the creation of something\nnew at the temple to meet social and cultural changes can be observed in\nthe constructions of ceremonial architecture as well as in the figurative\nrepresentations.
