Such a view of memory in general is based on\nthe premise that human memories are like a projection of an image on the\nscreen of the mind. This projection model of memory can be clearly demonstrated\nby comparing the controversy over agricultural forms in Russia, and\nthe discussion of memory extended by Paul de Man. In discussing human\nmemory, the author takes as an example the history of farming collectivization\namong the Chuvash in Russia, and examines how it is recollected by a\nperson who experienced the collectivization personally.
