The “nha rong” is designed on the basis of the traditional architectural\nstyle of each ethnic minority living in the Central Highlands. Although\nthe “nha rong” has long played a key part in the social life of each ethnic\nminority, in some places recently, their roles, styles of architecture and inauguration\nceremonies have changed with changes in various social backgrounds\nsuch as the depletion of forest resources, the diffusion of Christianity and\nchanges in villagers’ lifestyles after the market-oriented economic reforms.
