Specifically, I analyze which lowland residents\nowned land in the highlands by using cadasters and accompanying cadastral\nmaps as research materials, and give shape to the analysis by using the diary\nand memorandum left by Tosei Miyara (1863–1945)—who was the governor\nof the lowlands—as well as by using ethnographic data, for example from\nthe “Exploration of the Southern Islands” written in 1894 by Gisuke Sasamori\n(1845–1915)—who traveled throughout those islands.\nBy studying the descriptions and analyzing the above historical materials,\nI show that residents of the lowlands jointly owned and utilized land in\nthe highlands not only for rice-paddy cultivation but also for a wide variety of\nother land uses in order to cope with the uneven distribution of natural environments\nand available ecological resources. Furthermore, I clarify that commuting\nto farms was a horizontal control of resource management strategy\naimed at expanding environmental capacity.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15021/00003832","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国立民族学博物館"}]},"item_9_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Museum of Ethnology"}]},"item_9_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00091943","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_9_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0385-180X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_9_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"藤井, 紘司"},{"creatorName":"フジイ, コウジ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"Fujii, Koji","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-11-19"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KH_038_2_03.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"6.1 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KH_038_2_03.pdf","url":"https://minpaku.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/3840/files/KH_038_2_03.pdf"},"version_id":"f19a4e80-0e4d-4dcc-bb19-cb3a2ef76034"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"生態史|隆起珊瑚礁島|通耕|水平統御|八重山諸島","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"eco-history|raised coral island|commuting to distant farms|horizontal control|Yaeyama Archipelago","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"琉球弧・八重山諸島における通耕実践と生態資源利用 : 19 世紀末期から20 世紀初頭における「高い島」と「低い島」との往来をめぐる事例","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"琉球弧・八重山諸島における通耕実践と生態資源利用 : 19 世紀末期から20 世紀初頭における「高い島」と「低い島」との往来をめぐる事例"},{"subitem_title":"The Practice of “Commuting to Distant Farms” and Ecological Resource Management in the Yaeyama Archipelago of the Ryukyu Arc : A Case Study Involving Traffic Between “High Island” and “Low Island” from its 19th Century Last Stage to the Beginning of the 20","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"17","path":["353"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2014-05-02"},"publish_date":"2014-05-02","publish_status":"0","recid":"3840","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["琉球弧・八重山諸島における通耕実践と生態資源利用 : 19 世紀末期から20 世紀初頭における「高い島」と「低い島」との往来をめぐる事例"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T17:22:41.594704+00:00"}
