ソニンケ民族の文化運動と地域ラジオ局 :「文化週間」をめぐる民族誌的考察 Cultural Movement and Regional Radio of Soninke : Ethnographic Study on “Culture Week” Mishima, Teiko 54 三島, 禎子 1000020280604 ミシマ, テイコ 20280604 ソニンケ｜西アフリカ｜民族文化｜地域の連帯｜発展｜地域ラジオ Soninke｜West Africa｜ethnic culture｜integration of regions｜development｜regional radio 本稿は2017 年にソニンケ民族が中心となってセネガルで開催された「文化 週間」を記録した映像1）を題材に，運営側の活動と地域をとりまく社会経済的 な状況を民族誌の観点から記述し，その成立要因や意義，および10 年間にわ たって継続してきた背景を考察するものである。開催側が掲げた目的は，（ 1） 海外への労働移動と世代の交代によって失われつつある民族文化の継承，（ 2） 宗教対立や政治的な危機によって分断された地域間の連帯，である。諸要因を 鑑みれば，「文化週間」は（ 3） 国家の介入しない地域主導の文化運動，（ 4） 反エ スノセントリズムの民族主体の地域運動，と言い換えることができる。他方， 筆者の関心は，（ 5） 労働移動によって蓄積した富の価値とその利用，にあった。 これらを考察の基本におきながら，取材をとおして浮かび上がってきたのは， （6） 国家と交渉する民族，（ 7）「 残る」ことを選択した人びとの生活戦略，（ 8） 伝統的社会の変革である。 This article is based on the ethnographic video of “Culture Week,” held in Senegal, in 2017, by the Soninke. It aims to analyze the factors of the establishment, including its intention and background that has been continued for over 10 years, from the standpoint of the management’s activities and the socio-economic situation surrounding the region. The purposes of organizers include the following: (1) inheritance of ethnic culture that has been lost due to overseas labor migration and generational change and (2) solidarity between regions divided by religious conflict and political crisis. In other words, “Culture Week” means (3) a cultural movement by regional initiative without the state’s intervention and (4) a regional movement by ethnic initiative of anti-ethnocentrism. In contrast, the author is interested in (5) the value of wealth accumulated by labor migration and its use.
