国立民族学博物館所蔵の第一次東南アジア稲作調査団採集のカゴ細工について A Collection of Baskets from Southeast Asia 坪郷, 英彦 ツボゴウ, ヒデヒコ Tsubogo, Hidehiko This article analyses the bamboo baskets collected by the First Southeast Asia Rice Crop Research Team, and which are now in the collection of the National Museum of Ethnology. They were collected in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. The following technical aspects of the baskets are examined : form and framework, weaving method, and the manner of stripping the bamboo in preparation for weaving. Data are presented graphically by line drawings. The baskets are similar in form, weaving method and quality of bamboo. Most are finished by a method similar to Nodaguchi Shiage.
