| 内容記述 | 2020 年，新型コロナウイルス（COVID-19）の世界的な蔓延は，現代社会に おける人類の営みを根底から見直さなければならないほど大きな影響を与え た。国立民族学博物館では，感染症対策に万全を期す体制を整えるべく，新型 コロナウイルス感染症対策会議を設置した。そして，勤務する職員，研究活動 や展示場見学を目的とした来館者，あるいは業務委託をおこなっている外部業 者などの安全を確保するため，新型コロナウイルスの感染状況に応じて民博独 自の活動基準として，「新型コロナウイルス感染状況に応じたみんぱくの活動 基準」を定めた。その後，新型コロナウイルスの感染状況や，それに伴う国や 大阪府の対応策を見据えながら，民博の活動レベルを判断するとともに，レベ ルに応じた活動内容を適宜見直しながら 2022 年度に至っている。こうした民 博における新型コロナウイルス感染症対策のなかで筆者は，博物館活動の新型 コロナウイルス感染症対策の策定について主たる役割を果たしてきた。これ は，博物館活動に係る研究・運営の在り方を議論する文化資源運営会議のもと に設置され，博物館の運営業務全般の方針を策定する展示情報高度化部会の部 会長を 2016 年度から 2022 年度現在にかけて務めていることによる。これらの 活動は，すべてが初めての経験であり，活動内容を決定していく過程では常に 試行錯誤を繰り返しながら，作業にあたっている。一方で，こうした経験は， これまで博物館が経験したことのないリスクに対してどのような対策を講じて いくのかというひとつのモデルを提示することができると考える。そこで，本 稿では，民博の博物館活動における新型コロナウイルス感染症対策について着 目し，これからの博物館活動について考察を加えることとしたい。 |

| 内容記述 | The effects of the global COVID-19 (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020 have been so great as to force a fundamental reconsideration of all human activity in contemporary society. At the National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) , COVID-19 prevention meetings were held to create a systematic approach for adopting all necessary measures against the spread of infection. To guarantee the safety of the museum staff, visitors coming to the museum to do research activities or view the exhibitions, and external contractors carrying out work for the museum, we established different activity level criteria for Minpaku. The criteria were then adjusted according to the current COVID-19 infection rates and were set out in a document: “Minpaku activity level criteria according to rates of COVID-19 infections.” Since then, we have continued implementation of the appropriate activity level while maintaining an eye on the rate of COVID-19 infections and assessing measures taken in response by the Osaka prefectural and national governments. Where necessary, we have also made adjustments to the activity content. The author played a major role in measures taken against COVID-19 at Minpaku. Implementing these measures was a new experience for all of us. We felt a persistent uncertainty while deciding the activity contents for the respective levels. Such an experience can provide a model of how to take measures against risks that the museum has never experienced. This paper specifically examines COVID-19 infection prevention measures implemented at Minpaku and presents consideration of the future of museum activities in general. |
